Crenulopteris Acadica - Mazon Creek Fossil

This group name of at least 25 species includes foliage that produces spores on the underside of their leaves. Some plants were ground-dwelling and others may have been epiphytes. The tree form, Psaronius, grew to heights of about 35 feet and in the drier areas of the swamp.
